Refund Policy
Last updated: 4 July 2026
This Refund Policy explains when and how you can obtain a refund for purchases made on MapLore, operated by Stefan Mladenov, trading as MapLore ("MapLore," "we," "us," or "our"). It forms part of our Terms of Service. It does not limit any mandatory rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.
1. Who processes your payment and refund
Our payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), which acts as our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller of record for your purchase and processes refunds on our behalf. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, and any applicable tax is handled by Paddle.
2. Subscriptions (Creator and Pro)
Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation stops future renewals, and your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Because access continues for that period, we do not provide automatic partial refunds for the unused portion of a term, except where required by law or offered under section 4 or 5 below.
3. Export credit packs
One time export credit packs are consumed as you render and export videos. Credits that have already been used to produce an export are non refundable, because the digital service has been delivered. Unused credit packs may be refundable within the cooling off window described in section 4.
4. Statutory cooling off (EU and UK consumers)
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital services. However, by starting to use the Service immediately after purchase, for example by rendering or exporting a video, you ask us to begin performance during the cooling off period and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. Where you have not yet used the paid features, you may withdraw within 14 days for a full refund by contacting us.
5. Discretionary and good faith refunds
We want you to be happy with MapLore. If the Service did not work as described, you were charged in error, or a renewal took you by surprise, contact us promptly and we will review your request in good faith. We may, at our discretion, issue a full or partial refund or credit even where one is not strictly required.
6. How to request a refund
Email us at company@maplore.io with the email address on your account and, if you have it, the Paddle order or receipt number. You can also request help directly from the receipt Paddle sends you after purchase. We aim to respond within a few business days.
7. Timing
Once a refund is approved, Paddle processes it to your original payment method. It typically appears within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.
8. Contact
Questions about refunds or billing can be sent to company@maplore.io.
